How COVID-19 restrictions affect NSW roads users

Driving and travel plans

There are currently no limitations on people who live in NSW from travelling within NSW.

Before you set out, however, make sure you check out what you can and can’t do under COVID-19 rules.

Make sure you wash your hands thoroughly and practise physical distancing of 1.5 metres when visiting rest areas.

Travelling to or entering NSW from interstate

Under a public health order, anyone who has been in Victoria within the last 14 days must not enter NSW except in special circumstances.

Mobility parking

If we have your photo on file, you can apply for, replace or renew a 5-year MPS permit online. If your photo is not in our database, you can still apply online for a 6-month temporary permit. Visit Service NSW for full details.
