Between August and September 2021, we engaged with key stakeholders, transport customers and the community to gain an understanding of peoples’ experiences and concerns when accessing and travelling on Picton Road.
The consultation aimed to identify current issues and concerns using and accessing Picton Road, as well as seeking feedback on what was most important when developing options for a future upgrade. The feedback will help identify how the upgrade can reduce travel times, improve road safety and ensure it caters for the expected future population and economic growth.
As part of sharing the feedback received during the consultation, we have developed an interactive dashboard which allows visitors to click through and read about the feedback. It is easy to use and provides an innovative way to explore what was important to the community when planning for an upgrade of Picton Road.
