Temporary barriers will be placed on the Princes Highway northbound slow lane between Illaroo Road and Bomaderry Creek Bridge from Tuesday 29 June, weather permitting.

All northbound highway traffic in this area will shift east for up to seven weeks, weather permitting. This will allow us to create a safe work area to the west where we can continue widening the highway and Illaroo Road as we prepare for traffic changes in the coming months.

Access will be maintained on either side of the construction area however, there will be no through access under the bridge during this time. Signage will notify creek users of restricted areas.

Access to the Shoalhaven River from the Bomaderry Boat Ramp will not be affected by these changes and there will be no traffic changes on the Princes Highway while this work is carried out.
