Project information
The NSW Government is progressively upgrading ferry wharves across Sydney Harbour to improve Sydney’s ferry service as part of the NSW Government’s $770 million Transport Access Program – an initiative to deliver modern, safe and accessible transport infrastructure.
The new wharf incorporates the existing waterside building, a new longer aluminium gangway and a refurbished pontoon. The gangway and pontoon has a curved roof, glass panels and new seating.
The new wharf provides improved:
- Protection from the wind, rain and sun
- Safety for passengers
- Access for passengers using mobility aids
- Access for passengers with prams
- Boarding and disembarking efficiency.
