Cremorne Point Wharf upgrade - completed

The NSW Government has upgraded Cremorne Point Wharf as part of the Transport Access Program.

The new Cremorne Point Wharf opened on Thursday 5 February 2015.

Project information

The NSW Government is progressively upgrading ferry wharves across Sydney Harbour to improve Sydney's ferry service as part of the NSW Government's million Transport Access Program – an initiative to deliver modern, safe and accessible transport.

The new wharf includes a steel floating pontoon, a covered concrete fixed entry platform and a covered aluminium gangway connecting the entry platform to the pontoon.

The pontoon has a curved roof, glass panels and new seating offering some protection from the weather and improved amenity.

The new wharf provides:

  • Better protection from the wind, rain and sun
  • Improved safety for customers
  • Improved access for mobility impaired customers and customers with prams
  • Quicker and more efficient boarding and disembarking.
