CLOSURE OF SPANS OF WINDSOR BRIDGE
Friday 30 April to Sunday 30 May 2021
Vessel operators are advised that due to excessive debris entangled in the bridge structure all spans of the Windsor Bridge on the Hawkesbury River at Windsor are closed from Friday 30 April to Sunday 30 May 2021 inclusive.
The closed spans will be marked by lights and day shapes indicating that the channel is blocked. Unauthorised vessels are prohibited from navigating through the bridge spans.
Vessel operators are prohibited from transiting through the Windsor Bridge
Transport for NSW advises:
- Persons within the vicinity of the Windsor Bridge must comply with any directions given by a Boating Safety Officer or Police Officer in relation to the channel being blocked. Failure to comply with any such direction is an offence (Marine Safety Act 1998, s.15A - Maximum Penalty $3,300.00).
