ALTERED SEABED CONDITIONS REDUCING CHARTED DEPTHS
Monday 7 September 2020 until further notice.
Vessel operators are advised that due to recent East Coast Low Pressure activity, altered seabed conditions exist upon the Hickey Island Lead (Whiting Beach), Clarence River, Yamba. A deposit of sands has resulted in variation to the Charted Depths resulting in reduced depth to 1.0 metres LAT.
Vessel operators are advised to exercise caution when navigating the lead.
This navigation warning remains in place until the natural recovery of the area occurs.
