Have your say on night work on Botany Road Rosebery

02 DECEMBER 2016

Members of the community are invited to provide feedback on a proposal to carry out night work on Botany Road, Rosebery.

A Roads and Maritime Services spokesperson said the NSW Government is funding essential maintenance on Botany Road at the intersection of Gardeners Road to provide a safer road for motorists.

“Work will involve excavation, removal and replacement of small sections of drains, asphalt, kerb and gutter, and the pedestrian island,” the spokesperson said.

“To minimise the impact on motorists work is proposed to be carried out for up to five nights a week for a four week period.

“An alternative schedule involves working up to four nights a week for a five week period.

“For both proposals work hours would be between 8pm and 5am, excluding Saturdays and public holidays, with noisier work such as jack hammering completed before midnight.”

Feedback can be provided to project delivery partner Ventia Boral Amey Joint Venture by Monday 19 December to PO Box 838, Rockdale, NSW, 2216 or nswenquiries@vbajv.com.au
