Community members are invited to provide feedback on a proposal to carry out night work on Menangle Road at Menangle Park.

A Roads and Maritime Services spokesperson said essential maintenance work is required between the bridge across the Hume Motorway and Tindall Street.

“The work includes removing and replacing sections of asphalt to improve the road surface and provide a safer journey for motorists,” the spokesperson said.

“Work can be carried out for fights nights per week for nine weeks or for two nights per week for 22 weeks.

“For both proposals work hours will be from 8pm to 5am to minimise traffic delays for road users.”

Feedback can be provided to project delivery partner DownerMouchel by Tuesday 13 December at PO Box 6465 North Ryde NSW 2113 or nsw_projects@downermouchel.com.

The community will be kept informed as work progresses.
