Have your say on night work on Canterbury Road Glenfield
29 NOVEMBER 2016
Roads and Maritime Services is inviting the community to provide feedback on a proposal to carry out night work on Canterbury Road at Glenfield.
A Roads and Maritime spokesperson said the NSW Government is funding essential maintenance on Canterbury Road between 900 metres north of Fawcett Street and Harrow Road to provide a stronger, longer lasting and safer road.” the spokesperson said.
“To minimise the impact on motorists, work is proposed to be carried out for up to five nights a week for a three week period.
“An alternate schedule involves working up to two nights a week for a six week period.
For both proposals work hours would be between 8pm and 5am, with noisier activities such as jack hammering completed before 11pm, to minimise the impact on residents and businesses.”
Feedback can be provided to project delivery partner DownerMouchel by 5pm Friday 16 December at PO Box 6465, North Ryde, NSW, 2113 or nsw_projects@downmouchel.com.
