Have your say on proposed night work schedule for Stoney Creek Road
6 JULY 2016
Community members are invited to have a say on the proposed night work schedule for essential maintenance along Stoney Creek Road at Beverly Hills.
A Roads and Maritime Services spokesperson said the essential maintenance work includes removing and replacing sections of asphalt, kerb and gutter between King Georges and Gloucester roads.
“Stoney Creek Road provides an important east west connection between Peakhurst and Rockdale.
“Essential maintenance work is required to ensure the road remains safe and would also include line marking and utility investigations.
“To minimise the impact on motorists work would be carried out for five nights per week for four weeks or two nights per week across 10 weeks.
“For both proposals work hours would be from 9pm to 5am with noisier activities such as saw cutting and jack hammering completed before midnight.
“Feedback can be provided by Wednesday 20 July to project delivery partner Ventia Boral Amey Joint venture, PO Box 838 Rockdale NSW 2216.
“The community will be kept informed as work progresses and are encouraged to learn more about other Roads and Maritime Services projects in the area by visiting www.rms.nsw.gov.au.”
