Have a say on no stopping restrictions on Elizabeth Drive at Kemps Creek

24 JUNE 2016

Feedback is being sought on a proposal to install a No Stopping zone on Elizabeth Drive at Kemps Creek to improve safety for vehicles entering and leaving commercial properties.

A Roads and Maritime Services spokesperson said community members could comment on the proposed No Stopping zone, which would be installed on the northern side of Elizabeth Drive between Clifton and Salisbury Avenues.

“Elizabeth Drive provides an important connection between Penrith and Liverpool for road users including heavy vehicles,” the spokesperson said.

“In response to community comments Roads and Maritime is proposing to install a No Stopping zone for 370 metres along Elizabeth Drive.

“The change aims to improve visibility for vehicles accessing commercial properties along the road including heavy vehicles.

“All properties with frontage to this section of road have access to off street parking.

“Comments can be provided to the Network and Safety Team at Roads and Maritime Services PO Box 973 Parramatta NSW 2124 by Monday 4 July.

“All feedback will be considered and residents and businesses kept informed as the project progresses.”
