Have your say on night work for King Georges Road at Roselands
16 May 2016
Community members are invited to provide feedback on a proposal for night work to be carried out on King Georges Road at Roselands to provide a stronger and safer road surface.
A Roads and Maritime Services spokesperson said work would include removing and replacing sections of asphalt, kerb and gutter as well as utility investigations and line marking on the northbound lanes.
“King Georges Road forms part of the A3 corridor which connects Sydney’s northern and southern suburbs.
“This work would be carried out between Canterbury and Moorefields roads north of the M5 interchange to provide a safer road surface for the thousands of motorists using the road daily.
“Work could be carried out for five nights per week for three weeks or for two nights per week for 11 weeks, weather permitting.”
Feedback can be provided by Friday 3 June to project delivery partner Ventia Boral Amey Joint Venture at PO Box 838 Rockdale 2216 or nswenquiries@vbajv.com.au.
All feedback will be carefully considered and the community kept informed as work progresses.
