Meet the Princes Highway upgrade team for a Q&A session on Facebook live

2 April 2020

Transport for NSW is following NSW Health advice and has moved community information sessions for the Princes Highway upgrade projects online in response to the Coronavirus outbreak.

Minister for Regional Transport and Roads Paul Toole said the Jervis Bay intersection upgrade, Milton Ulladulla bypass and Moruya bypass were all critical to the long-term future of the NSW South Coast and next week’s online consultation sessions were a vital step in the process.

“We’re progressing with three priority projects that will create better connected regional centres and grow regional economies while improving journeys for locals, commuters, visitors and freight,” Mr Toole said.

“More than 1000 pieces of feedback across the three projects have been received in the first two weeks of consultation.

“This will enable Transport for NSW to better understand how, why and where our communities are using the Princes Highway and help to address issues as the transport network is transformed in this area.”

Mr Toole said the purpose of the online Q&As is the same as the planned drop-in sessions.

“Listening to the community’s questions and providing answers is an important step in moving forward with building a safer and more reliable Princes Highway between Jervis Bay Road and the Victorian border.

“We hope our communities leave better informed about the projects and better equipped to send their valuable comments and feedback.”

Q&A sessions will be hosted online for each project on Monday, 6 April and each session will run for about 30 minutes:
